Does sending an email every week feel like an impossible goal?

You’re not alone.

Lots of us struggle to get newsletters written and sent on the regular. But not doing it will cost you. In our attention economy, staying quiet means losing customers.

The way to create a habit of consistency is simple: It’s just practice.

Not to confuse simple with easy! But writing and sending email can be easier than force and guilt and procrastination and self-recrimination.

Because the easiest way to create consistency is practice + guidance + community.

All of which you’ll find in Consistency Club.

It’s more important than brilliance.

Regularly reaching out to your audience is how you get them to remember you. It makes them think of you when they need what you’re offering.

Of course you’re going to make it interesting. You’re you! Only you can dab on that special sauce that keeps them coming back for seconds.

But no one will ever get a glimpse of your many-hued genius if you don’t hit send.

If procrastination and perfectionism are your constant companions, let’s send them out to pester the neighbors while we get sh*t done.

Get into the habit. Or get back into the habit, if you were there but you’ve taken a detour.

How do you develop good habits? Practice.

How do you develop confidence? Again, it’s practice.

How do you get better at anything? You guessed it - practice.

How do you chip away at a challenge? Keep showing up.

How do you stay consistent? Accountability.

How do you beat the empty page jitters?

Encouragement, community and a writing prompt or two.

join us

Here’s how it works:

Join me and your fellow writers once a week for an hour-long work session. You can write your newsletter, web copy, a screenplay, a letter to your aunt.

I mean, I’m guessing you’d like to get some work done, but writing is writing and it all counts.

I’ll provide a writing prompt which you are free to use or ignore. It can be helpful as a jumpstart if you’re having trouble figuring out what you want to say.

We’ll work together, because the downside of being an entrepreneur is all that alone time, wondering if your ideas are good or whether you’re just barking into the wind.

Maybe you’ve got a question; pop it in the chat and I’ll give you feedback. Or simply remind you that you’re smart and good-looking.

Cameras on, cameras off - it’s all the same to me. This is about getting your work done. No conversation required.

Consider this the one hour of the week when you can get your work done without distraction or self-doubt.

This is for you if:

  • You struggle to get your newsletter out regularly

  • You have trouble deciding what to write about

  • You could use a big dose of accountability

  • You like being part of a community

  • Encouragement is your favorite non-addictive drug
